ABOUT THE EVENT (13 September 2014)
With recent events affecting the local community, the Glasgow branch of the Islamic Society of Britain felt there was a need to provide a space for the community to explore these issues and start to think how we, collectively as a community, should deal with the small number of people among us who are adopting a misconceived interpretation of Islam and acting upon these beliefs. Their actions have a significant impact on their families and the wider community.

We brought together an experienced panel of speakers who offered their perspectives and discussed how we can respond in a measured and constructive manner.
