McMuslim.tv is a new exciting and uplifting online media channel launched in Ramadhan 2017 which aims to highlight the positivity of the Scottish Muslim community.
For too long, Muslims have received negative coverage in the mainstream media and a handful of people have obscured the Islamic faith.
We felt that the real voices of Muslims in Scotland need to be heard. The overwhelming majority of Muslims in Scotland are making valuable contributions to Scottish society and McMuslim.tv provides a platform for promoting a greater understanding and awareness of the different threads that make up the Scottish tartan.
We aim to bring community partner organisations together to support the great work that they do.
In addition, McMuslim.tv aims to train potential filmmakers and nurture the vast untapped creative talent that exists within the Muslim community in Scotland.
